Respect and safeguard of the territory and of biodiversity
are the principles on which our company is based, we are dedicated to cultivate
with passion the native grape varieties of the Langhe and Monferrato

who we are

Dacapo was founded in 1997 and merged with Cà ed Balos in 2017. Our goal is to create authentic, elegant fine wines, reflecting our passion for Monferrato and Langhe regions respectively, our love for growing grapes and our care for the winemaking process

Our philosophy can be summarized with “Wine is made in the vineyard” and that is why we pay a lot of attention to the care of our vineyards also by committing to organic agricolture

For us, wines must be an expression of the terroir, this is why our wines are produced with indigenous grape varieties from Langhe and Monferrato.
We grow Barbera, Moscato, Ruchè, Grignolino, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo

Our wines express the terroir while respecting tradition.
Agliano Terme for Barbera d’Asti, Nizza and Grignolino d’Asti, Castiglione Tinella for Moscato d’Asti and Langhe Dolcetto, Castagnole Monferrato for Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato and Monferrato Nebbiolo

Our vineyards are in the core zone of their respective designation. In Monferrato they are located in Agliano Terme and Castagnole Monferrato and in the Langhe in Castiglione Tinella

The best way to know a winery is to experience it in first hand, taste the products, take its rhythms, know the people who took care of its production.
Stay at our bed & breakfast above the winery.

The Dacapo winery is always open and ready to tell the story of our passion for our land

The winery is located in Strada Asti – Mare 4, in Agliano Terme (AT)

Driving along the Asti-Alba highway, take the exit “Strada Statale del Turchino”. At the end of the exit ramp you enter a tunnel, continue straight on until you reach the town of Montegrosso where, in succession, there are two traffic lights.

After the traffic lights continue straight along the main road, at the end of which the road turns slightly right.

500mt after the turn, you will come across a gas station on the left side, 150mt on the right you will find the sign “Cantina Dacapo – Cà Ed Balos”. Take the small road on the right after the sign. This small road is  500 meters before a second tunnel, so if you see another tunnel you must have missed the little road!
