CHARACTERISTICS
Ample, ethereal and complex with tertiary aromas. Structured and well-balanced, deep and long lasting, with a slightly spicy finish
Grape variety: Barbera
Intense garnet red color
Aromas of plum and walnut husk, hints of tobacco, licorice and cinnamon
Vinification: Barrique
Vinification: soft crushing and long maceration in contact with skins. Immediately after fermentation it is racked into French oak barrels where it rests for at least 12 months.
Food pairing: it goes very well with truffle-based dishes. Excellent with boiled meat, braised meat, game, stews and casseroles.
