DACAPO WAS BORN IN 1997
with the renovation of an old estate in the Municipality of Agliano Terme by two friends who strongly believed in the personality of wine and wanted to create authentic and elegant wines.
A few years later, in 2004, the Sartor family, following their love for the Langhe hills, founded Cà ed Balos, with the aim of best expressing the terroir of Castiglione Tinella, rich in floral and fruity aromas.

Come together to create a strong bond between Langhe and Monferrato.
In 2018, the Dacapo winery was enlarged and restored, equipping it with modern equipment to control the temperature during the fermentation process and ensure the same care and attention to each of the indigenous varieties grown in the company’s vineyards.
The result is distinctive and memorable wines, which reflect the passion for the terroir, the love for the cultivation of grapes and the care for the winemaking process
OUR PHILOSOPHY IS TO BRING THE GRAPES IN THE BOTTLE
The harvest is manual. Only healthy grapes with the right level of ripeness are chosen to allow to minimize the intervention in the cellar and obtain a wine expression of the terroir of our own vineyard and of the specific vintage.
This reflects our philosophy that wine is made in the vineyards.
THE ANCIENT BARR EL CELLAR
The ancient barrel cellar, located under the winery, maintains a cool temperature, with an adequate percentage of humidity, creating an ideal environment for aging wine.
French Allier barriques, tonneaux and bigger barrels help the wines to better express their unique personality.
